Please excuse us for our tardiness...
I know that we've been a little slow with our articles or there's a delay in articles being posted. We're currently working on other projects as well...which is a little bit time consuming. As you've noticed on the top-right side of the blog, we've incorporated a flashing sign "Hot Waxx"...which is a link that takes you to one of our other Myspace pages. That page is for one of the projects was started. Hot Waxx is a record store located on Jamaica Avenue in Jamaica, Queens. We currently sell all of the hottest CDs, DVDs and Vinyl Records...as well as all hard to get music. Being that our topics mainly focus on music, movie and television...the record store enhances our feeling or views of the topics. Which will help you decide whether or not you buy the album or dvd. Hopefully, we will be excused for our tardiness. I also hope for those who are located in the New York area, support us with your music purchases....DON'T BUY BOOTLEGS!!! DON'T DOWNLOAD!!!...(Unless we advise you that it's should be downloaded instead of purchased...=0*)...And for those who would like further information about our stock, or how to get to the stores location, feel free to email me... Hotwaxxx@aol.com !!!

Even though it Rains...

This is just some words that I felt like sharing with my people. Although each day that pass may not be the way you want it to be, it's going to be alright!!! It can't rain forever, the sun will shine and with the sun comes bloom.
Little girl, where's your pride?? Young man, strengthen your defenses!! There's no telling when the sun will come out for you. When and if that day comes, who's going to nurture that bloom??? Only you can!!!
I love all my "Real People"...keep respecting one another and keep moving forward with a positive force!!!
And for all my "Deep People", I could not have found a better picture it just expresses so much. The clouds are smiling while the sun is frowning. My point exactly, when your sunshine frowns, even though it may not be much...don't become content with the cloudy days....I'm out...

Queen Of En-Why is now the Talk Of En-Why...
Here we go again. Another artist in the news...with everyone assuming sh*t. No one was there but the people that were there...therefore, no one knows the full story but them and God. From the time that the incident occurred until now, I've heard so many different versions of the situation. I've heard that it was sort of a "Lesbian Scuffle" to it now being over money. After reading and hearing so many versions, unless it comes from the horses mouth and not the horses ass...I don't want to hear it. I've learned how to separate them from their job and just look at them as regular human beings. There's so many people mentioning how "stupid she is" or how "she could have beaten her up" or even "had someone do it for her". As I mentioned before, no one was there, so don't judge. I don't care how "High Profile" a person is, when it comes down to it, they react how you and I would.Regardless to how much money she makes, if someone stole my money and I knew who it was...it'll be a damn problem, bottom line. From what I personally know about Rem, she's not that type of person. Of course, everyone has their different levels of "Piss-tivity" that they can be pushed to. And if she did do it, I guess she was "Rick Ross'd (Pushed to the limit)". The way that the victim is being portrayed in the media, is unbelievable. They're mentioning how she graduated college, and how she was shot in the car that her mother bought as her graduation gift...SO THE FU*K WHAT!!! In my opinion, there's a reason why her @$$ is laying up in the hospital. Remy doesn't seem like the type of person to do what the media is saying she did (Walk up to her car, open the driver side door and shoot Makeda Barnes in the stomach.)
They are definitely making her out to be something like a monster and she's nothing like that. I really just hope she gets out of this one...for herself and her children. What was read in the media, they were supposedly like sisters or whatever. The storyline doesn't sound right to me. I really wouldn't want to see her go down like that. Looking pass all of the jewels and the glamorous life, she doesn't deserve this. Get at me...

You can't build happiness off someone else's misery!!! Part II
This goes out to all my insecure people and if that's you, then dont be ashamed. If you get offended, then it must be you. Insecurity is definitely a "Relationship Murderer"...so if you want to f@*k up your relationship, just try it. With all the adversities one faces in a day, (If they have job, go to school or just handling business.) home should be the last place they need to stress over!!!..."Who's that on your phone???" "Why didn't you answer it then???"
..."Where were you at??? Who was you with???"
..."Who's that girl/guy, where do you know them from???"
...Do you find yourself putting your phone on vibrate to avoid arguments???
...How about changing your phone number??? (Not willingly or did it to avoid issues)
...Did you change your top friends on Myspace or even better, delete your entire page???
...Do you hide your buddy list???
...Do you store numbers in "YOUR" cell phone as someone else???
...Do you consider home "Lock Down"???
If you're answering yes to all or any of these questions, you are becoming a victim/assailant. To always have to validate yourself (I call it defending your "Innocence") to your significant other is a headache. If you're not secure with yourself, then a relationship is out of the question. Many people try and force it but to me, it's a waste of time. Once the "Second Guessing" feeling began, they cannot be retracked. And that's real talk!!!
There is nothing worst than a relationship with no trust. My suggestion to all those going through it is, "Drop it like it's hot!!!"
If you're the one with the insecurity problems, some times it's good to be alone. Find out what makes you so insecure because you will never be happy if your tryin to find it in someone else. Love yourself...Talk to me...

London's bridge has fallen down!!!
Once again, please excuse me for bringing such foolishness into your lives. By no means, do I want to bring attention to Ms. London Charles (Deelishis) and her pathetic schemes to stay in the game...but I couldn't pass this one up. I guess it's safe to believe that acting wasn't her thing, nor the cheap attempt in the fashion world. Unfortunately, this one is an all time low.I can't believe that deelishis thought after a few staples (Cosmetic Surgery) and a couple of high profile parties that she was ready for the music industry. Her debut single is titled "Rump Shaker" (Ray Charles saw that coming), is foolish and sounds really pathetic!!!
I know everyone has to make a living but the "Rump" thing is over!!! Now that they've made implants, every women has one. So I think it's time to change the focus. Here's a nice start, try singing. If my memory serves me correctly, London Charles (Deelishis) has a beautiful voice...but this is not it!!! Listen for yourself...Talk to me...

Not feeling your Vibe!!!!
I know that sex sells but in the industry, it's by any means necessary...do or get done. In this particular case, I don't even feel that the sex is selling it. I'm sure you all heard about the incident with Kelly Rowland being bumped by Beyonce Knowles for the cover of vibe magazine. Please don't get me wrong, Beyoncé is my beesh but she should have left this one for Kelly...females can find classy ways to sell themselves SHORT!!!I think the concept was cute but the execution was poor. She looks like a little dirty girl in the park, jumping double dutch. There are many ways to be sexy but this is not one. Despite the fact that her "talent" was suppose to be singing, where does this picture fit??? I think she is a jack of all trade (To be commended)...however, I have to say that she has not Mastered any of them!!! Talk to me....... And here is the rest of it.

Get your space together!!!
Yesterday, I came across an article in the newspaper and the headline was "Myspace, Perv Place" (Which caught my attention, and made me do this post). When I initially made a myspace account (After hearing the fuss over it, I had to make one), it was to see if I can find some of my friends from High School that I lost touch with. Also, to network and find people who had the same interests as I did (Which I thought myspace was for anyway.) So I came to thinking about all of the profiles I've came across. Ok, this is no offense to anyone...But is it me or is EVERYONE ON MYSPACE either a upcoming Model, Rapper, Singer, Ganster, or Porn Star??? Myspace is a place to get your hustle on.Has anyone come across one of those pages (That wasn't private, by the way), where you clicked on their pictures, only to see a naked ass with a thong, with their child's picture right next to or under it??? Come on, nice ass or not, why would you put your business on Front Street like that (Especially with your kids posted up there)...that's not a good look!!! And is it just me or is every damn body modeling??? Don't get me wrong, I understand that people think highly of themselves, loving yourself is first and foremost. Some of them take it to a whole different level. When I look at some of the pictures, a lot of these females are young as hell...all caked up with make-up with no damn clothes on. Now, "Where's the parents???"...do they not see their kids taking half naked pictures and posting them on the computer??? Or is it that I can possibly find the parent on myspace with the same picture posted??
After reading the headlines and names of some of these profiles, I said to myself, "These people are dead serious." A lot of them perpetrate so hard...it's ridiculous. They use myspace to make a name for themselves (Which is understandable, they want to make a big name...everyone wants to be known). Unfortunately, to go hard and floss something or say something that can't be produced is yours, only makes you look foolish. Only your "friends" that really knows you outside of myspace, can stand by anything that you put on your profile. So to be a "Myspace Pimp/Ganster" when you're really the herb or flunky out the bunch, is unnecessary. Just play your position, be real with yourself. If they don't look like herb or can't accept you for the herb you are, no need to approve them as one of your friends. Don't change your character to be down, that's wack.
To all the aspiring Models, Rappers, Singers, and Producers get your hustle on by any means necessary if that's really what you do. But when I listen to some of the tracks that people have posted, it seems as if people are doing it because it's "what's in" right now. I don't feel seriousness coming from it. Don't play around with it, if it isn't what you do. No need to turn into the singer/rapper/model, just because your friend told you that you can sing/rap/model. Leave that to the people, who lives, sh*t, sleep, and breathe it....and that's serious about their craft.
Stop waiting for approval...validate yourself!!!
I don't know about anyone else but I'm so tired of people validating for their short comings. Just get your sh*t together, and getting your sh*t together doesn't have to mean like Michele or like Christopher (No two people are the alike). It means, do you the best you know how and be sure when you're doing it.Have you ever met someone who doesn't have a mind of their own?? And everything you do, they're sure to follow?? (But yet they're ashamed for you to know that they've followed/copied). Well, that is the most annoying sh*t in the world!!! It's nice to have someone to look up to you but...it can also be sad when the person starts to believe that they're someone they're not. Forgery is against the law. If it's not your car, please stop fronting...what are you going to do tommorrow or later on when you have to give it back?? If you don't have a bank account, it's okay you still have time. If you don't own a home yet, when it's your time you will. If you haven't been out of the country...my point is everything happens in it's appointed time and if it's an hour early it not for you!!! People just need to be REAL with themselves.
If there's anyone that can keep it real with you without any hard feelings, it's YOU!! So, please before you start dissecting someone else's life, just swing the mirror around 360 degrees. Tell yourself what you really see!!

N------ What?
I was just having a conversation with a neighbor about how our day went. During the little session, I said "This nigga..." and he cut me off saying how that word is banned and the whole history behind the word and such. Out of respect, I took heed to what he was saying and everything he said was correct, but banning the word completely......I dunno. This word is used everyday, usually incorrectly, if you feel that it's degrading to the black race. But ask yourself, "What is a nigger, nigga, niguh (whatever) really?" If you ask me what it means, bottom line, it's an ignorant person. Now if you agree with my definition, ask yourself "Do they exist?" HELL YEAH!!!!! N's are everywhere. Me being from Queens, NY, it's difficult not to bump into one just walking down the street, shopping, riding the bus, train...they're practically everywhere.
There are so many problems in this little world we live in. If you're unsure, watch the news (I personally call it "Bad News" because it's never good...ok, seldomly it's good.) One little N word is the least of our problems. If you want the word to vanish, then black people will have to learn to love, trust, and stick up for one another. But then again, when will that day come???

Happy Mother's Day!!!
...to all the mothers and soon to be moms out there. To those who lost their mother, I know there's nothing to replace that emptiness...but try to celebrate the times that you've shared with your mom. Friday, May 11, 2007
I knew it!!! Broke Bobby's suing Whitney...
Now, let's take this from the top. He was "strapped for cash...so he couldn't afford a lawyer...", now that's a everyday experience for some people. And you know what happens in that moment, the judge says, "Oh Well...when you're slow, you blow!!!" Secondly, he's "devastated about losing his rights to see his daughter." No one can judge the true feelings someone has towards their child. I honestly didn't know that he lost all rights to see her, that could be a devastating situation. Only him and his daughter know the real relationship that they have with one another. But from me watching and hearing the things Bobby gets himself into, would he really know how to take care of a 14 year-old female, as far as full custody is concerned??
The fact that he's claiming to have been homeless since the divorce, tells us that he was truly a MOOCH (at another's expense; sponge!!!) . Be a man, Bobby...GOSH! Stand on your own two feet. Why is it right for her to support your habits, when she has her own habits to support? Is it her fault that you didn't invest wisely??? Nope, it sure isn't. So seeking "Spousal Support" ended at the divorce. The spousal support went out the window when the gavel hit, Buddy Boy...you missed the boat. Seeking child support, was also reaching. Whitney has the child, full custody at that, how is he suing for child support? Let it go, Bobby....make a comeback album or something. Get a little pocket change for yourself....Get at me...
What has television come to???
*Blows breath* Where do I begin...TELEVISION IS THE WORST!!! At first, I tried to think whether or not my age (25) has anything to do with my feelings on this issue. Does anybody remember when television had meaning??? We went from only being able to have basic channels (Channel 2, 3-which was used for the VCR or Video Games, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13 and 21), 13'-20' with two knobs, or floor models (Zenith)...with "The Bomb Can't Miss" television shows. Now we're working with Eleventeen (Entirely too many) thousand channels, with big screen 50'-60', LCD or Plasma televisions with HDTV...with absolutely nothing on television.I can think about a couple of shows that mad everyone get home on time to tune into or watched at one time or another. 21 Jump Street, 227, A Different World, ABC Afterschool Specials, ALF, Amen, America's Most Wanted, American Bandstand, American Gladiators, The A-Team, The Aresenio Hall Show, Baywatch, Benson, The California Raisins, Charlie Brown & Snoopy, Charlie's Angels, Chip N' Dale Rescue Rangers, The Cosby Show, Dear John, Diff'rent Strokes, Doogie Howser, M.D., Double Dare, Empty Nest, Fame, Family Matters, Family Ties, Fat Albert, The Facts of Life, Garbage Pail Kids, M*A*S*H, Martin...etc., that's just to give you a few (I can go on for days, I left out some important ones.) Can someone inform me, where did shows like these disappear to???
Every show that's aired these days, are supposedly reality. These people make it seem as if there's no camera following them at all. I'm not expecting them to stare directly into the camera, but don't make it seem as if you don't have people there taping you're every move. I don't know if it's me over analyzing the shows, but it seems to me that most of the conversations are scripted. Not exactly telling the cast how to react in specific situations, but sort of like a "And Action!!!". When these people know that they're in front of the camera, they tend to act a little bit out of their usual character. For example, we have shows like "Run's House", "I Love New York", and "Flavor of Love" that they lead us to believe that are real in content. The way each cast member acts on all three of these shows, all seem acted out. Yes, sometimes we get drawn into the hype or drama, which makes us tune in. In my opinion, there's nothing about these shows that are "Reality".
Comparing these shows to what I used to watch back in the days, there's no reason to be paying for cable. But for some reason, it don't be a damn thing on T.V. Unfortunately, I am one of those people that just can't live with it and definitely can't live without it...=0*. Get at me...

You can't build happiness off of someone else's "Misery"!!! (Adult Content)
"The way you got them, is how you lose them" and "What goes around, comes back around.", those phrases never lost there meaning. When you do dirt, you get dirt...that's Real Talk!!! Loose Tonguez was recently asked by a friend on Myspace, "Why do single females f*ck with married men??? I've always wondered!!" Or someone that's involved, rather???
In my opinion, the question should have been, "Why do single Females/Males opt to deal with someone deceitful??" I know that there will be many justifications for this nowadays. "Common Sense" (Died with Pride), tells you that if they do it with you, they will do it TO you. Only a fool can believe that they can find eternal happiness off someone else's misery. You might get a few gifts out of the deal...but at the end of the day we all want the same thing, someone who you can call "Your own." Being able to say that and believing it, is two different things. It has alot to do with "Trust" and after creeping around with someone that is involved, you can't never believe they're devoted to you.
Women have truly adapted the "It's about me" attitude. Some peoples "Self-Esteem" is so low that they are receptive to any foolishness. To each their own...so who's to blame??? Is it the committed party that clearly display characteristics of a "Low Down Dirt Bomb"??? (When they do not properly disengaged themselves from their current situation, before they proceed into starting to build a new foundation.) Or is it the desperate, lonely one that hasn't realize their self worth??? Please someone talk to me...

Where's the Parents?? (Mature Audience Only)

Who's ruling who is my question?? When or what year was it when a child could just run sh*t, and where was I when it happened?? Children today seem to have no respect or should I say no fear of anyone. As I watch youth come up, I see that they have no regard for their Parents (if you want to call them that). Or, are the parents too busy being children themselves?? So when it comes to discipline, you can "Fuhgeddabouddit". It's the sad truth but people has been talking about "Save The Children" - (Marvin Gaye), since I was born. So, should I expect change??
I would just love to see Parents be Parents. The other day I witnessed this toddler (I guess 2 years old), spit on his mother!! Yes, I said "Spat" on his Mother and in a Department Store at that. Do you know she looked at him and said, "Now, you're not getting any Mcdonald's." Huh?? Well, when and if his baby teeth ever came down, they would fall right out...that's how hard I would have elbowed him in the mouth. I wouldn't care who liked it!! It's just principle that is lacking. Ladies and Gentleman, it's just not cute, our children need a Seminar!
If you grow-up spitting on your Mother, you don't stand a chance!! I can't even blame the children, it's not their fault (we are all creatures of habit.) Our habits are determined by our surrounding. As you become an adult, it's no longer acceptable to react on "Habit". You must learn to make conscious decision because they have consequences. (And for that reason, I would have bust his lip.) WANTED: "Parents"...Talk to me...P.S. The babies in the pictures are my niece & nephew, they're just too damn cute!!!

Whitney Houston - Who can hold the torch?
Even though there was a previous post about Whitney Houston (http://loosetonguez.blogspot.com/2007/03/whitneyyoure-my-addiction-we-need-you.html, for those who didn't have a chance to read it.), I had to do another one. When it comes down to thinking where to begin, I'm at a lost for words. Over the years, our attention started to sway more towards the personal lives of the Singer/Rapper or Actor/Actress, and less towards the talent that they were known for in the first place. And when it comes Whitney Houston, she is a prime example of what I mean. From "Drug Abuse" to "Anorexia" to the "Dispute with her father" to "Financial Problems" to the latest, which is her "Divorce and getting full custody of her daughter." Now let's be realistic, are these (if not one, all) things that any ol' body can or experience on a everyday basis??I don't see too many post about her accomplishments, if it's not a biography or fan site. I believe that the slander and criticism about her in the media, took over the fact that there's not ONE single or song that she's dropped that anyone can say, "She's lost it." After really giving it some thought, she's been in the music industry for over 20 years now. And after going through my "Music B.I.B.L.E (Bangers I Bump Loud Everyday)", I confirmed it. Going back from "You Give Good Love" in 1985 (Fast Forward) to "My Name Is Not Susan" in 1991 to "I Will Always Love You (From "The Bodyguard")" in 1992 (Fast Forward) to "My Love Is Your Love" and "It's Not Right, But It's Okay" in 1999 to (Damn, I'm still going)....need I say more???
Who gives a damn that she's going through a divorce??? That's their Prerogative. Bobby Brown in my opinion, was never on Whitney Houston's level...but only they understood the love they had for one another. Was her career based on her marriage when she was introduced to the world in 1985??? Nope, sure wasn't. So please people I ask, why kick someone when they're down?? I know that's a trait that many carry, and "they can't help it". But damn, you don't think Whitney knows how she looks??? Or how she acts in public (whether she was on drugs or not)??? She doesn't need it to be reinforced over and over. Besides, that's none of our business anyway.
Where's the tribute to Whitney Houston?? I know she receive a lifetime achivement award from B.E.T. on their first annual award show. And I'm sorry, but that didn't really do anything for me. A lifetime achievement award from B.E.T...UmM...I said UmM... Vocally, the chicks in the game right now, couldn't hold the match to strike the torch in comparison to Whitney Houston. And you can't say it's not a comparison, but who are we suppose to compare the chicks in the game to??? Check her record...this chick is no joke.

Real Talk (Mature Audience Only)!!!
I am so sick and tired of "Birds" (Females with pea size brains), it's time for a seminar. I just need to tell my young women when you leave the bodega (corner store), walk a block away and then he calls you, "Not" acceptable. When he pulls up in his car, rolls down the window and tell you to come here "Not" acceptable. It's just my opinion (everyone has one). Correct me if i'm wrong, but there's no need to go backwards. It's never worth it...if I have to walk back to give you my number, then you didn't want it in the first place. That's not only applicable in relationships, that's pretty much with everything in life. Never go backwards for anything unless it's to say " Sorry " (that's self healing)!!! What do you think??? Talk to me...

" MYSPACE" has been Invaded!!! OoOHhh GoShH!!!
It's out of control, I think I am loosing it. Can someone tell me who is the "TAN MAN"? For all who don't know, sorry for even bringing such foolishness into your life (If you don't dwell on it, it'll go away). I had to speak about this because I need to know if I am crazy. Is this "TANGO"/Mr. New York himself?? Now, who told him that he could take it this far, who told him that this would be exceptable.
Tango's Management team "Fired"!!! Tango's music career "DECEASED"!!! Tango don't get it confused, please don't think your pathetic performance on an equally pathetic show,"I Love New York", could possibly be your big break. Not saying it isn't but, I can say Music is not I repeat, "IS NOT" your next step. Maybe acting!!! I've been looking forward to the revised version of the Ninja Turtles, he would look cute doing that!!!
I like to see when people take the advantage they get (if you call it that) and "Tan Man" is really abusing his privileges. The exposure he recieved is only good for the community. Open up a Afterschool Center or something but, Please leave the music to lovers of the craft. He really set himself up for this one.
That "Myspace Music Page", Tango, please take it down!!! I got a chance to listen to the music and it was painfully disgusting, I would have gave you guys a sample but that type of music give this page a virus. Well, I've given this NONSENSE way too much time...talk to me.

News to who??
As I watched the "News" this morning (Fox5 is my preference), I often question myself when I am done watching it, "What part for this broadcast is news?" Things that are suppose to be important seem to have get pushed to the side. Foolishness seems to take presidence. If it wasn't for the weather, I don't think I would even know it was the news. The occasional mention of "Breaking News", unless it's a celebrity, there's hardly any follow-up coverage. I still want to know who shot the Chinese guy up the block from my house?? How is he doing??
I've learned to respect someone like Geraldo, he goes the extra mile to deliver news that means something to the people. I'm not really interested in what's going on with "Idol Chatter", "House", or the reject Regis and Kelly, "The Mike and Juliet Morning Show."
The show (not news), consists of Guest Appearances, Tech Tips, Animal Planet, and "Expert Doctors" passing info that they heard from the Preschool Nurse!

Although, I have come to realize that things doesn't have to make sense anymore. If it wasn't for Jodie Applegate, with her witty personality, I don't think I could watch the show. I mean Jodie really needs her own comedy show, she's a natural!! And she is pretty too!! Talk to me........

I thought I was the only one tired of Beyonce!!!
Apparently, I'm not the only one. Rod Stewart's ex-wife, model Rachel Hunter is upset with celebrities such as Beyonce Knowles for "ruining the hopes of young girls who want to become professional models." The 37-year-old continues "the 1980s era of high-profile supermodels gracing runways and magazine covers around the world are over."
Hunter fears for the careers of young models who want to be the next Cindy Crawford or Naomi Campbell, because their efforts are being overshadowed by film and music stars, including Knowles. She speaks with Australian newspaper The Daily Telegraph, "For years now we have seen people on the covers of magazines that aren't models, they are actresses and it's disappointing." She also states, "Sports Illustrated this year had Beyonce Knowles on the cover. What's left for young girls to aspire to if they want to be models? Not much!"Now, when I first saw this cover, I said to myself, "What the hell is she doing on there?? They're pumping her harder than a full service gas station." Every where you look, it's BE-DAMN-YONCE. It's like they're taking the taste out of everything. Back in the days (I know I always refer to this but that is what I can refer to, as far as real is concerned), I didn't remember seeing as many Singers/Rappers on the covers of magazines or having their own clothing/sneaker/jewelry/liquor line. They focused more on their craft/talent. I know that everything is a hustle and you have to make money. But how do the little people get in where they fit in??? The ones that grow up wanting to be a Model, Fashion Designer or Actress/Actor. Those jobs are being taken by people in the spotlight already. Where are the Angela Bassett's??? Where are the Donatello Versace's??? Where are the Iman's??? I'm tired of seeing the Beyonce's in "Dreamgirls", the Jay-Z's in "Rocawear", the Brooke Hogan's in "Rip the Runway". Maybe, if they focus on what their craft is, instead of trying to get the most endorsement deals, they can sell more records. (Or make better records, that's worth the $20 that's charged, instead most folks buying the bootlegs or burning it online.)
